CD151

The CD151 are the smallest in the family and include the first Beyma annular ring diaphragm design with the VPEQ technology (patent pending), which allows the driver to work in a more linear and efficient manner. It also includes the brand new DEPLOCEX technology by Beyma making them more efficient and more immune to power compression phenomenon.

The CD151 are designed for high quality audio system applications where medium-high SPL and minimal distortion are desired. The drivers feature a 1-inch exit throat and a 1,5-inch coil diameter.

They are available in Ferrite only maintaining a very efficient compact instrument. Two different annular diaphragm are accessible made in advanced polyester and high temperature polymer. These two materials possess unique physical properties that allow system designers to choose between two different characters within a similar range of power and sensitivity.

While archiving high efficiency and excellent transient due to the use of very light materials each material has it´s own sonic register in combination with the VPEQ compression chambers. The High Temperature Polymer has a slightly better sensitivity while the Advanced Polyester has a smoother, more musical sound due to the slight tilt to the high frequencies.
