CD171

The CD171 is designed for high quality audio system applications where high SPL and minimal distortion are critical. The drivers feature a 1-inch exit throat and a 1,7-inch coil diameter. It includes the brand new DEPLOCEX technology by Beyma making them more efficient and more immune to power compression phenomenon.

They are available in Ferrite only maintaining a very efficient compact instrument. Two different domes are accessible made in advanced polyester and high temperature polymer. These two materials possess unique physical properties that allow system designers to choose between two different characters within a similar range of power and sensitivity.

While archiving high efficiency and excellent transient due to the use of very light materials each material has it´s own sonic register in combination with the compression chamber and the exclusive phase plug. The High Temperature Polymer has a slightly better sensitivity while the Advanced Polyester has a smoother, more musical sound due to the slight tilt to the high frequencies.
